  June 7, 2015 - And lo, on the second tasting, enjoyed it not at all. Seemed slightly sweet on both evenings. Rather like Hilary Clinton, it was clearly immaculately turned out and coiffed, but you're a few sandwiches short of a picnic if you find this attractive. Which is clearly troubling for me, as not only did I rave about this last time, but Mrs Practice liked it this time (she of the Riesling allergy). Too sweet. Maybe curry didn't help!

  March 28, 2015 - Astonished by the quality of this wine. Taut, but deep and balanced, a dry, mineral, but satisfying masterpiece which has Burgundian swagger. Must buy more.

  September 13, 2014 - Tasted blind. Not surprisingly, I had difficulty pinning this one down. Very pale straw in color, it gave off notes of lime and stone fruit, but in a very reserved way. Lots of flint on the palate, with zest of lime and a very saline finish. It reminded me of a Savinniere at first, then I leaned towards a dry Pinot Blanc. This wine has structure and would benefit from a couple of more years of ageing.

  June 6, 2014 - Quite pale with a muted nose. Bright acidity, lots of minerality with a long white pepper finish. Distinctive and good food wine.
