October 28, 2023 - A big, leathery barolo that combines the dark fruits with a lot of barrel influence. This is drinking decently, but perhaps due to bottle variation, I'm not getting the complexity in the secondary flavors. Feels a bit muddled at its current point in time.

April 25, 2022 - Entering maturity, broad shoulders, at times compelling, classic aromatics, but a little fussy and tart after being open a few hours. Fine grained sediment.

December 2, 2021 - A little light in structure, but besides that a pretty classic expression of Nebbiolo (a hot expression however). Medium+ tannins and acidity. It delivers cherries, blackberries, rose petals, some black currant, a hint of tar and menthol. A quite hot vintage in Piemonte, which probably have an effect on the freshness of the wine. At least I prefer Nebbiolo with a fresher profile. However, it drinks quite well at this point, but can probably be saved for a couple of years as well. I wouldn’t say it’s a wine for the long run though. Decent balance in general, but lacking a little when it comes to the length. All in all a good wine and a 92.

July 3, 2021 - Really nice but way too young, still needs time to get to its destination.
