  August 15, 2021 - A huge improvement over my last bottle of Hobbs Chardonnay, the Ulises Valdez was very juicy and full of very bold lemon, tangerine and peach flavors. Quintessential Sonoma: the cool climate makes for deeper flavor and better balance.

  February 25, 2021 - That's a nose like I've never smelled (smelt?) before. There seem to be diverse descriptions on CT, but all seem to agree it's a luscious nose. I'm a little transported to Asia, so I've got to go with white flowers, honeysuckle, pear, and a hint of jasmine. Fresh on the palate, white peaches, delicious. Long finish. A wine to be savored.

  December 23, 2020 - A wonderful, sultry buttery caramel on the nose. The palate is rich with oak and butter with lemon zest on the finish which really helps balance the wine out.
