August 24, 2019 - Very Bordeaux cool-climate profile of of dense dark-fruits (blackcurrants, blackberry), mint, new leather, and graphite. Nose was a bit shy and not as forth coming as the palate. Wonderful mid-palate concentration without being jammy. Palate staining finish. Tightly coiled up on PnP, this needs a 1 hour decant., although it did lose some steam after 3 hours. This is drinking great now with some upside as well. A great find!

July 5, 2017 - Opened on 7/4, finished on 7/5; complexity and approachability improved overnight. Lots of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Deep, rich purple color. Nice traditional nose of a Napa cab- spice, oak, dark fruit. Palate matches the nose. Nice long, even finish.

March 13, 2015 - Our first taste of this wine.......excellent. Spicy smooth nose. Well balanced and very easy to drink. Long finish. We liked it so much we ordered 9 more bottles. Highly recommend this sleeper.
