August 28, 2022 - Still in great shape, actually improved over two hours in the glass. Round and creamy, but alive with a peach ginger acidity. Long finish of honeysuckle and peach juice, with 20 seconds of spicy stone pit and green melon notes. At least 5 years of great drinking ahead. Perfect tonight with pecan chip/coal grilied quail, brined and finished w a tamarind/quail stock glaze, and black rice/pomegranate stuffing.

November 22, 2019 - Great bottle abandoned at a local wine bar. Very light yellow, like a young sauv blanc, far brighter than I expected. Nose has very strong smoke and earth tones, with faint malo tones and fresh lemon zest. Gorgeous swirling complexity on the palate, with zingy acidity that fades into mellow fruit custard and a fine, mineral finish.

Definite food wine, but this could stand up to pretty serious stuff that’s usually red-only, like steak tacos, smoked meat, or wild game. Great stuff at the price point, drink now or hold for another 5-10 years.

May 28, 2019 - Nice complexity. The minerality and acidity standout compared to many marsanne wines from the region. Paired well with chicken bakes with kalamata olives and grapes.

August 3, 2018 - Very clean with some waxiness and density. Orchard fruit. Beautiful.
