November 9, 2023 - Four years later, this is still singing. Notes seem fairly consistent with just a little more development. Beautifully complex bottle. Time to drink now.

April 24, 2021 - Slowoxed for 10 hrs then into a decanter. Still very youthful color that deepened over the course of drinking. Lovely nose of cloves, cinnamon, soft spring flowers and bitter orange. the pallet mimicked the nose. Really lovely and still has many years left. Sad it was the last of my bottles but really fun to drink.

January 19, 2020 - At peak, just perfect now. Excellent Brunello albeit not the ‘grand cru’ like Cerretalto etc

August 19, 2019 - Excellent! Within 10% of it’s peak. Dark, brooding, lots of earth, dark berry. Drink now!

May 24, 2019 - Deep purple in color with no bricking only a ruby rim. This is dark. Intense notes of dark fruits, blackcurrant, cassis, black cherry, ripe plums, a hint of vanilla. On the palate it is dry with a hefty amount of extract, high acidity and dusty tannins. A bit of cedar emerges with more vanilla and some cola notes. I can't feel any dry fruits but maybe a bit of berry compote. The tannins match the acidity for sure. This should be able to soften up in another 5 years but it is absolutely delicious now. Finish is almost long. Paired with Argentinian skirt steak and it definitely did the job. As a matter of fact, I think it can take even a fattier cut. Modern but not overripe, mature but not over the hill, tannic but not astringent. What's not not love? Great effort.

March 19, 2019 - Very concentrated, but very mature. Profound aromas of cola, wood spice, dried brown figs, aged balsamic, and leather. Bright cherry preserves assert more on the palate. The texture is surprisingly thick, with both fleshy fruit and gritty tannins. The finish is quite bitter and tannic.

To be honest, I don't like this wine. It is too bitter and tannic, and I prefer more fruit sweetness.

January 4, 2019 - Exceptionally concentrated and complex. But quite corked. Sometimes I can overlook cork taint, but not here.

November 7, 2018 - This is drinking really well right now, a little aged but still juicy and just really pleasant. Tight from the pop, after maybe half hour of air it rounded out. Milk chocolate mouthfeel, very smooth, resolved tannins. On the palate, round feeling, similar to plum tho not actually tasting that much like plum. Medium length finish.
