April 2, 2008 - If your after an "old world" style Grenache made in the "new world," then this is it... Smoke, exhaust red fruit and sweetness on the nose, very complex. Great ruby viscous look, the look of a serious wine for sure. On the mouth, this wine shows it's young age. It is like a rookie pitcher with a lightning arm, but lacking the savvy veteran head. Great complexities of strawberry, raspberry and some spice. Lots of tannins and alcohol. This wine has all the talent it needs, it just requires the time to develop. Defiantly potential to score 90+ in a year or three. Buy it, cellar it, discover it in three years.
