  July 18, 2013 - Not sure what previous tasters were experiencing, but this bottle of Passalacqua cab was very enjoyable. Opened and poured immediately, this cab had a wonderful full nose of spices and fruits. On the palette the fruits continued with a nice balanced acidity. As the wine was drank over the next hour it continued to open and show more complexity and a very pleasant finish. General consensus was that this wine had years of aging left. This was the 4th bottle of an original 12-bottle case purchased directly from the winery in 2005 and has been untouched since purchase aging at 55 degrees and 60% humidity. Looking forward to another in about 6 months.

  September 17, 2012 - Dark fruit with secondary flavors of leather and tobacco coming out. Starting to oxidize slowly. A little chocolate on the smooth finish.

  October 8, 2011 - Opened bottle and decanted, not much there. came back in three hours and what an explosion of chocolate, dark cherries, and maybe some wet leather. great legs, medium to long finish, silky on the taste, with pleasant tannins.
