April 26, 2023 - PnP. Color: Wow is this dark ruby / purple. On the nose: plum, strawberry and pomegranate. On the palate: Plum, strawberry, hint of cocoa and tart cherry. Finish is decently long.

    March 17, 2023 - 2 hrs in the decanter.
Gorgeous layers of juicy black and blue fruit, perfect acidity, dark smoky mineral notes and a spoicy seasoning mark this wonderfully complete and well structured Sicilian red.
IMO this is entering its drinking window now.

December 17, 2016 - Regular dinner group (@ MH): In the bouquet lactic cherries and berries and a lot of cassis. On the palate dark forest fruits, cassis, chocolate, a firm amount of bitterness and some sweetness as well. Concentrated wine with good acidity. Beautiful wine with a future of 3 - 5+ years.

November 5, 2016 - Dark ruby with some bright bubbles on the pour out. Powerfully aromatic. Not subtle. A bit hot. Features nice texture and a longish finish.

April 13, 2016 - Vinitaly 2016; 4/10/2016-4/13/2016 (Verona, Italy): Petit Verdot at 900m altitude. Very dense nose, rich ripe fruit, more on the black berry side, ripe to almost dried plum, seductively rich profile. The palate is equally rich, dense, dominant black fruits, nice tannins, nice structure, plush, tannins that are still tight, nice long finish. Very interesting wine, very expensive (in Athens)
