October 4, 2021 - Quick note. Dense and full of character. Plenty of blue and balckberrry. Sweet acidity and easy tannins. There is a great savory, beef broth quality to the palate. At 10 years old, it doesnt show any signs of fadings and has all the components to press on.

July 8, 2019 - The nose showed moist earth and mineral laden blueberry, as savory herbs with accents of floral undergrowth, sweet spice and hints of smoke developed in the glass. On the palate, silky textures were firmed up by an intense mix of raspberry, hints of cherry and brisk acids, as inner herb and peppery spice tones filled the senses. Youthful tannin tugged at the senses throughout the long finish, balanced by time lingering acids and with long-lasting notes of tart red fruits, herbs and spice.

October 3, 2015 - Of Rainstorms and Rieslings: did not take a formal note - because i have been lucky to taste this many times now. Powerhouse of the wine. Blueberry and spice. but this is evolving - got a touch of herbs and cassis along with a more settles mid (still full of zesty acidity to balance the powerful fruit). Great wine.

June 23, 2015 - Various Wines with Carlo and Fia: this is a beast. cherry plum and cassis. blackberry in the mid. powerful, fruit forward but with a serious streak of acidity and structure keeping this big wine light on its feet. Very young - cannot wait to see this age and develop!
