February 25, 2023 - I’m going to go out in a limb here. The bottle i opened was stored in pristine condition and it’s drinking crazy good. Still with medium plus acid, the nose is a heavy stream of Earl grey tea with dried herbs and wet leaves. Just a lovely wine at 28 that is overlooked since 94 was not a great vintage. This was well worth the wait and the wine kept getting better!!

February 26, 2022 - Wonderful wine, rich and mature. Long aftertaste. Impressive

December 31, 2017 - Surprisingly youthful, just slight brownish tints on edge

Beautiful pairing with saltimbocca Romana and the came into its own with blue Stilton

Moderate acidity, distinctive cherry notes, medium finish trailing to short-medium over an hour or two

Good for another five years on this showing

March 1, 2009 - Soft flavor profile, integrated tannins, a bit past its prime but enjoyable with a touch of acidity on the finish.

June 9, 2007 - Earthy with black truffle, mushroom, forest floor. Palate is muted as far as fruit, but with tons of the same earthy, mushroomey characteristics. Probably on the downhill side of life.
