April 21, 2017 - Last bottle of a case. All with ripe, rich cherry flavors, a bit of earth and even some spice. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and enough structure to keep it from being flabby. A bit linear, but overall enjoyable and much better than a typical $20 merlot.

August 28, 2016 - Have had several bottles now, all consistent. No notes, but overall a solid wine. Not quite as rich and lush as a traditional merlot, but I enjoyed the relatively dry, lean and structured character. Nice cherry fruit and with a bit of earth/bramble that gives it a slightly rustic character, which again I found enjoyable. Not at all sweet or syrupy.
