  May 21, 2016 - Improved with time. Mid-dark garnet, brick edges; older Cabernet nose; herbaceous, leather, cedar; mid-body; good structure; better flavor than nose. Long smooth finish. w/tri-tip

  December 11, 2012 - APPEARANCE: Black Red, opaque, Ruby - 4/4
  BOUQUET: Berry fruit, Black Berry, Black Cherry, mild vanilla, wood, brown sugar, - 12/14
  TASTE: Berry, moderate fruit, mild tannin, medium body, moderate finish, rich - 13/18
  PREFERENCE: Drinking well on the fruit side with smoothness, still some structure from tannin that bulks it up some, - 3/4

  January 15, 2012 - Excellent smoothness to first taste with up front fruit of ripe black cherries and blueberries. Gives way to spicy second taste with hints of white pepper and currants. Finish last 15-20 seconds with full flavors lasting through the end

  January 14, 2012 - This wine seems well past whatever prime it had. There was too much oak and the finish had a harshness that was difficult to see past. It appears that the other reviewers were drinking a different wine than the one in my bottle, at least by their scores.
