  Palate: sweet; well balanced. Very little acidity. Notes of melon.

  October 24, 2017 - Pale yellow color with a bouquet and flavor hinting of stale pepper with an impression of sweetness. Simple wine but not showing the foxy character expected in a native grape variety, in this case Cayuga, named after the Cayuga tribe, one of the five original Iroquois nations, who lived near Cayuga Lake, one of the Finger Lakes of New York. The Fox Run winery is located on the shores of Seneca Lake, named for another of the five nations.

  September 5, 2017 - Finger Lakes Vacation 2017; 9/4/2017-9/8/2017 (Finger Lakes, New York, USA): Tasted at the winery. White grape and peach juice, typical for Cayuga. Medium(-) acid and short length. Bordering on cloying...not enough acid to support the 2.3% RS. "Good," 83/100.
