January 5, 2024 - Much lighter and fresh, bright fruits than I expected or recalled. Sweet apricot or other fruit. Very crisp and clean.
Not overly sweet, viscous - rather balanced throughout with a clean finish -

September 3, 2023 - Lots of fig, prune, maple, caramel, chestnuts and rancio on the nose. Extremely long and expansive in the mouth and dry initially, with only a touch of sweetness on the long and woody finish (and it then becomes medium sweet with air). I rate new bottles 95pts and this 20yr old bottle 96pts (has more depth of flavour and less alcoholic). Served in Zalto unoaked white glasses
