March 1, 2024 - Initial funkiness blew off after an hour, then wine opened up aromatically and on the palate. After 3 hours the wine was showing it's best and went very well with the short ribs served at the Millenium Hotel for Acker's La Paulee auction. I think this wine will improve over the next 5 years or so.

October 2, 2022 - Drank alongside Fourrier CSJ ‘09 - excellent balance and complexity, this wine had a mid-palate plushness that was fantastic. Long. Would buy again.

August 10, 2020 - Absolute stunner - drank among a flight of the 5 first growths, screaming eagle, Harlan, vintage krug and salon, Corison, you name it. This bottle at a fraction of the cost was just as good as most of the wines listed. Wish I had more :-/
