December 21, 2017 - A wine I return to year after year, simply because it's such a stellar value. Belleruche is one of Chapoutier's entry-level labels, a tempting and fleshy blend of classic Rhône varietals: Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette, and Bourboulenc. It's rife with pear and stone fruit with the merest twist of lemon peel, fennel and white flowers. On the palate, it's round and silky with enough acidic verve to keep it light on it's feet. This is a great, versatile wine to keep stocked for any occasion. 14.0% ABV

April 20, 2017 - Wonderful nose - big fruity nose whiffed out of bottle when I removed the cork. A very nice Cote du Rhone - light and fruity but has a decently long finish. Although its light, it has decent acid to stand up to red meat.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. -

December 10, 2015 - Popped and poured. Blackberry, cherry, milk chocolate, anise and underbrush. Leads a medium to long, soft, dry finish. Medium bodied. A well made CdR. Paired with pork chops.

November 15, 2015 - Light and drinkable, though a bit too much alcohol for how light it is, this blend of Grenache and Syrah could have used the Monastrell to balance it out. However there are nice notes of tart cranberry and cherry. There's bit of minerality and Brett. A decent old world food wine.

September 24, 2015 - Compared to the Luberon La Ciboise, this is fruitier, rounder, less peppery and softer. That being said, my personal vote goes to La Ciboise due to its lovely pepperyness and lower price, although admittedly the Belleruche is the crowd-pleaser.
