March 21, 2015 - Since it is advised to cook wih wines that you would also like to drink, I bought this Chardonnay after eading some good reviews. But was utterly dissapointed when I tasted it. It is so heavily oaked that it completely robs the slight acidic freshness that a white wine is supposed to bring. The wine is very sweet. Given the dark golden color and its sweetess, it reminded me of a bad sauterne rather than a chardonnay. I found this confused identity of a wine difficult to quaff. Shall have to leave it for cooking purposs only. Not buying this brand again.
