September 6, 2019 - Weird, sweet soil tones, spicy black peppercorns, VA, overt alcohol, a bit like an ultra ripe Aglianico or something.

January 18, 2018 - POP. Dark purple/black. Vegetal, dry, full body, midweight tannins, heavyweight cassis & berry fruit, high alcohol. good for pondering on a cold night.

July 17, 2017 - Dark purple to black core.
Green vegetative and herbal notes, extremely tannic and dry, super interesting finish with lighter red fruits notes but also some hot spice. Really interesting complex wine that seems to almost contradict itself...i dont know...i think i like this...my brain is in a bit of a pretzel here... -

February 25, 2017 - It doesn't say on the bottle, but according to the store where I purchased this bottle, it is a blend of Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon. At first I got a kick out of the reviews... the artwork on the bottle is a geometric diagram- and reviewers talk about the complexity of the wine. Well, I have to say these reviews are spot on. Other reviewers are better than I at dissecting the flavors, but this is a thinking wine. I found myself concentrating on it. Interesting.
