May 6, 2021 - Soft relaxed tannins many layered fruit. Very enjoyable with or without food. Ready to drink right out of the bottle.

March 7, 2020 - It took a few minutes to sink in, but I really (really) dig this. Looking back through my emails I see Zimmerman described it thusly: "Mourvedre doused in Moulin-a-Vent or the above mentioned Saumur". Yeah, for sure, I get that. This one he has nailed. In fact, an Italian Dm Tempier is the first thing that came to mind, but I also get the vegetal and four-square Loire elements and the lovely bojo-like fruit crunchiness. Love the melty tannins and dust of cocoa on the backend. This may not be universally loved, but it a thinking (wo)man's wine for those who appreciate some of the netherlands of European juice. I would love to check this out in an updated vintage, or better yet, visit.

October 3, 2019 - Quite nice, rich wood, light spice, plum, earth, some fresher red fruit hints in background, blackberry. Moderate length, moderately rich.
