  September 21, 2019 - Got another bottle of this recently as part of a Twisted Oak "mystery case" sales. It was still every bit as good as it was when I last reported on it 3 1/2 years ago.

  January 13, 2018 - Dark almost opaque. Smokey oakey taste. Some pepper. Warm, but don't taste too much alcohol.
  The wine looks purple colored. The legs are fast. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and oak. It tastes like dust and cedar. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

  April 22, 2017 - Hearty, almost rough red wine. Classic tempranillo taste. This wine has enough tannin to last for many more years. Excellent for barbeque and similar strongly-flavored foods.

  February 6, 2016 - Very consistent with my previous review from last August. This is clearly not yet out of its good drinking window; it tasted just fine tonight, with nothing to make me feel like it was on the way down.

  August 21, 2015 - Herbs, particularly anise, and, interestingly, a slight note of creosote on the nose. On the tongue, it's rich dark fruit and firm tannins. Very impressive, especially for the price.
