Community Tasting Notes 9

October 28, 2021 - Still quite youthful. Drank well with a turkey pesto melt and a Packers victory over the undefeated Cardinals!

August 14, 2021 - Still has an opening of bright red fruit, almost sweet ripe. Soft supple palate. Drinking well now, especially with a sausage, mushroom and onion pizza.

  • Tim Heaton Likes this wine:

August 4, 2017 - Consistent with last year's note, good; on the cusp of its decline, now or in the next 3-4 years.

    Double-decanted 1 hr prior to serving non-blind.

June 17, 2017 - Needed to open up more but I was impatient however a wonderful bouquet and solid length. A little heavy on the tannins but I think if given time to decant and certainly a few years it will continue to improve. The red fruit was there just overpowered at the moment

  • Tim Heaton Likes this wine:

April 27, 2016 - Tasted at the winery, from Coravin. Full and fresh on the nose and palate. Good length with a mixture of fruits and textures. The finish is long, and there's a fair amount of structure, but ultimately this is probably best now and over the short term. 14,5% abv. (fully resolved), recommended

    Served non-blind.
