August 15, 2015 - Good value for the money. Workmans-like Syrah. An everyday wine to go to for BBQ, pork, burgers, steaks.

July 8, 2015 - Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Inky garnet color. Nice nose of blueberries, cherries, bramble. Firm and intense on the palate, full-bodied, with cherry flavors leading over rocks & minerals. It's strong stuff overall. Finishes with light grip, medium tannins. This one is a bit of a monster, but a firm monster. Not recognizably syrah, but then, what is syrah at $18 a bottle?

July 2, 2015 - it was okay on the first day. Maybe it will be better. We had the 2007 vintage about 2 years ago and it was fabulous. It might be that I am expecting same experience.

December 25, 2014 - Very good without decanting. Nice dark fruit flavors. Not as full body as some higher price syrah. But very good for price point.
