July 23, 2021 - just an amazing bottle - after 20 years, still a very good nose and strong hints of black licorice. decanted for an hour or so, lots of sediment as one would expect

September 19, 2020 - Aging well. Silky yet viscous mouthfeel. Nice smooth finish. Some earthiness and tobacco underscore dark cherry and cassis fruit. Similar scents on a fragrant nose.

July 10, 2019 - Beautifully aged cab with finesse and depth. Red fruited with notes of mint, leather and cedar. Nicely balanced with a smooth nuanced finish. Might have guessed pinot in a blind tasting.

April 28, 2019 - Believe this is nearing the end of its drinking window. Some diminution of fruit leaving a more earthy, Bordeaux style wine. Still enjoyable but need to drink up. Medium garnet in color. Lightly floral nose. Earthy, tobacco and cedar notes on the palate. Drank side by side with a Freemark Abbey Bosche Vineyard which still retained all of its original fruit.

September 25, 2018 - Still very enjoyable. Cherry, leather, nice acidity, soft tannins, good balance.
