Community Tasting Notes 2

January 11, 2018 - 13.0% alcohol. Hitting a fantastic stage now. Medium yellow color. The nose is seductive, with plenty of green apple and pear notes. There's a touch of spice and good minerality. In the mouth, it's focused, pure, and utterly delightful. Plenty of acidity, it delivers restrained power. Great stuff with several years of upside left. January 6, 2015 - 13.0% alcohol. Light yellow color. This is quite tight and needs time, but it really shows its potential closer to room temperature. Pretty but somewhat muted nose of stone fruit, apple, faint oak, and plenty of minerality. In the mouth, a laser beam of tart apple, minerals, and acidity, which unfold on the finish to reveal the depth of the wine and its complexity. This is going to be phenomenal in a few more years. A-/A
