    June 11, 2014 - Initially quite a cabbagy, volatile nose. The cabbagy character blows of to be replaced with some bramble fruits and a lovely floral note. Made in a Ripasso style with Cabernet Sauvignon juice passed over Syrah stems and skins. Densely flavoured, full of black berry fruits and big tarry, spicy tannins. Has the flavour of an older wine but the mouthfeel of youth. This could be a love it or hate it wine. I think it's absolutely lovely.

    July 11, 2013 - An experiment ... nothing wrong with that ... the experiment was something about taking a cabernet through a ripasso process ... but this experiment did not work ... all alcohol and acidity. Not particularly drinkable.
