April 3, 2024 - An amazingly complex nose. Makes you wonder if you are having a wine that’s 20 years older than its age. Chalky. Great salinity. Lives upto its reputation.

November 16, 2023 - Tete de Cuvee Rose Tasting (Brookhaven, GA): Pale peach; intense nose, driven, serious, not much red fruit here, marzipan, nutty, wild strawberry, focused and so delicious, beautiful floral notes, intoxicatingly good; was hopeful Goisses would be the standout but no- tried and true Cristal is a stunner this vintage.

October 6, 2023 - Salmon pink with a tint of orange. Grapefruit, brioche, yeasty and very open for business. This is a very layered rose with a ton of body and depth, finishes fine and saline. While young Cristal whites are a little too cutting for me, the rose seems quite ready and expressive right now.
