January 19, 2022 - Cork was moldy on top with dark staining all up one side. I was a little concerned but the wine was beautiful. Mushrooms, petrol, wet leaves, and lime zest with a lingering yeasty/savoriness I always associate with their UW wines. So sad this is my last bottle! Still plenty of life left.

December 2, 2016 - Just a touch too sweet for the food we were eating. Better with Cheese and Nuts. D'oh. Nice wine. Can age for 30 years more no problem.

March 13, 2016 - Similar notes as before, though this bottle seemed further advanced

October 9, 2015 - The recent MFW (mofu**inwine) review is spot on. Just a lovely and elegant auslese, sweet but lightly so given the prädikat. Very light petrol, super pure and delicious, fanning out just a little on the finish with a burnished creme caramel note. Drink now.

July 11, 2015 - This is a solid off-dry Mosel riesling with an attractive nose and good minerality. It is probably just short of full maturity and could do with a few more years in bottle to better integrate the acids. The palate is less sweet than I expected from an auslese pradikat. Nice to drink, but no fireworks. I would probably score it <90 points, but I defer to the experts at Mosel Fine Wines, who have awarded it 93 p.
