  February 14, 2016 - Jammy and alcoholic. Sweet raspberry fruit with quite a bit of grippy structure and some complicating herbal elements. The wine lacked focus tonight, although being served at slightly too warm a temperature contributed to this... Hs character but feels slightly over bearing.

  September 16, 2015 - Garrique, spicy raspberry and a touch of leather. A bit of grip on the palate. Savory and leathery raspberry and sturdy balance. This has style and is typical of the region. 2011 shows itself in the less gargantuan fruit and alcohol levels that do not make themselves too obvious (despite the 15%). Chunky and a little foursquare but good.

  July 25, 2015 - Classy S. Rhone nose and a really delicious palate that features sweet fruit, garrique, and cedar, with leather on the finish. Easy to drink, well-balanced and tonight (after a lamb tenderloin with a rather spicy cliantro -walnut pesto), the 15% alcohol was simply not noticeable to me. Not a massive or long finish but rather a sweet and well-modualted one. Very nice.
