December 31, 2016 - 12/16 sampling of the 2015 vintage ; a gift; moderate nose of licorice, blackberry; bright, medium body, flavorful; slightly tannic; short clean finish 84; very good value; ideal "house" red.

June 15, 2015 - Ink red color. Clean. Nose of leather, tobacco. Full bodied, dry with flavors of black currants, black cherries, black pepper. Medium acid. Tannic. Not bad for $13.
