June 24, 2016 - Un Verdejo tendu et minéral, sur un fruité léger (fruits du verger). Par contre il manque de rondeur et la bouche s'avère légèrement amer... Moins bonne que celle bu millésime 2012 il y a plus d'un an...

    May 30, 2015 - The hunt for a nice (well-priced) white Summer sipper continues . . .

Color: pale yellow with some reasonably long legs. Bouquet of fresh-cut lawn, lemon, lime zest and grapefruit. Palate delivers similar notes to the nose of lemon and lime but a fairly hollow midpalate and short finish with a touch of bitterness. Disappointing . . . reminds me more of a low end Sauvignon Blanc than Verdejo. Moving on.

March 24, 2015 - A very nice wine. Dry and slightly fruity. A nice alternative to Chardonnay.

December 10, 2014 - Pale gold in color, this wine shows pink grapefruit, lemon rind and minerals on the nose. The mouth feel brings bright acidity and additional elements of kiwi and herb-scented flowers. The finish was a little harsh with the acidity overpowering the fruit.

Purchased for $11US, this is an excellent example of Verdejo from this region. My score was knocked down a few notches due to the finish.

Imported by Aviva Vino, New York, NY.

September 15, 2014 - The wine is clear and bright with a pale lemon colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and youthful, showing medium intensity aromas of dough, fennel, fresh apricots and hints of mango and fresh grass. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium(-) acidity. It has a medium(-) body and medium(+) intensity flavours of apricots, mango, fennel, dough and hints of grass. The finish is medium.

It is a good quality wine. It has a very nice flavour concentration and decent enough finish. However a better example of this style would be more complex and would have a longer finish. Drink now, not suitable for ageing, the wine will lose the fruit aromas and will become sour.
