Community Tasting Notes 1

February 19, 2018 - Sort of ok, given as a gift from a visitor, so not really sure about its provenance. Also curious there are no reviews posted, while the label boasted 6500 cases produced.

It’s a murky purple ruby color, lots of oak and cassis on the nose, plus a strong green note. Green notes continue on the palate, giving the impression of under ripeness of the fruit or less destemming than was probably warranted. Can’t testify to the QPR, but this tastes like a generic $10 bottle and at that price it’s just ok.
