    April 17, 2023 - Beautiful Greek wine

September 12, 2018 - Tasted in a restaurant on Santorini. A short augmented decant. Quite intense at first with cherry type fruit and lots of herbal tea aromas (camomille and rosehip). Pretty full body with a bit too much heat. Still penty of tannisn and high acidity, probably good dispositions for further aging, but no real evolution in the glass. Was ok with food but rather hard to drink. Struggle to see the 95 points from Parker to be honest.

February 8, 2016 - Greek wine tasting at 67 Pall Mall: 8% Syrah with xinomavro. Older vines of around 60 years. Plenty on the nose, mid weight, medium light bodied, chunkier tannins, needs plenty of time to soften and integrate.

You can really feel the Syrah in this (8%). Lot's of fruit on the nose and a full body but less depth.

April 15, 2015 - By the glass at the Kyr Yianni wine bar in Athens airport. Opened for a few hours but preserved with vacuum pump.
Dark in colour, fresh vibrant tannins, raspberry , violets and a good spicy finish ( the syrah we guess). Having tried the great 2005 ( Papies 92) this is a wine that responds very nicely to ageing and will need a few more years to show its top form. Good now but needs time to develop. 89-90 for now.
