July 9, 2016 - Off wine list at Del Monico's Grill in The Woodlands for $65. Standard 2.5 retail but with some age which is unusual around here (3x retail for current vintage is more common). Pretty straight-forward with juicy berry, chocolate and leather notes. Nose of leather, death (9 year old smelled it) and dark chocolate.

January 8, 2015 - First time to try this wine and was very impressed. Very well integrated with dark fruit, smooth tannins and a medium finish. Went very well with my filet at Nick & Sam's. I put this in the high QPR category and am going to seek some out for the cellar.
