August 13, 2018 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Collection of Weingut Immich Anker and two other goodies (Private Location): Intense yellow fruit, also some candied ones as well mixed with a hint of petrol, herbal and stony aromas. Seems to get leaner with more time in the glass. Maybe a short decant could help here.
Has a certain kind of richness (out of the ripe fruit?) on the palate but the acidity is on a good level. Juicy on the finish. Can age easily for another 5-10 years. -

August 13, 2018 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: 3 Guys, lots of Riesling (@Private location): Screw cap. Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium+ intense, developing nose. Some petrol + notes of maturity, ripe yellow fruit ( a bit candied), herbs. Powerful and complex.
Dry, racy medium+ acidity. Great power with only 12% abv. Clear yellow fruit, maybe a bit of botrytis, mineral notes, petrol, a bit smoky. Long- finish. Lots of tension and grip, a bit baroque but also very juicy. It has 5-10+ years of development ahead. 91+
