July 26, 2015 - Pop and pour. A slightly muted bouquet of dark berries. A fantastically unctuous, velvety mouth-feel without any noticeable heat or astringency. Black cherry compote on the attack, with hints of leather on the mid-palate. Is likely at the tail end of the ideal drinking window, since after an hour or so, it started to take on a noticeably raisiny / port quality. So drink up! Would definitely consider buying the next vintage. Surprisingly good for an "alternative" wine region.

July 30, 2014 - Smells like some Port style wines, with tobacco and leather accents. Loads of jammy fruit, searing alcohol, low tannin and acid.
