March 19, 2017 - tasted Jan 2017: Concentrated aromas of black raspberry jam, with notes of purple flowers, licorice and black pepper. Palate is dense in jammy black fruits, a high florality and mouth numbing pepper. Tannins are soft and acidity is balanced and moderate. Finish is long and continually floral with violet, rose, pepper and mint. 92 pts
