  March 7, 2016 - Smoother and a little more round than expected, but that is not to say there isn't plenty of cut and energy.Light and airy nose. Palate with a nice red fruit expression with a little herbal edge that carries on through the finish. Light to medium body and not a lot of complexity, but nice polish and expression. But step up from '11.

Nevertheless, it was possible to peer behind this and get, floral/herbaceous notes, mixed with charcoal and dark fruit. Good acidity on the palate with a clean finish. Medium- bodied; lighter than expected given the depth of the nose. Even better on Day 2 when the funk had disappeared.
