Community Tasting Notes 2

August 10, 2008 - Very tight. Showing an iron-clad structure. Reluctantly giving up Black cherry, anise, sweet spice, forrest floor and mineral. Dark and brooding with structure that needs age to penetrate. Although it showed much more disjointed on the second day, I would bet this will age effortlessly. Drink 2010-2018. 90+? pts.

December 25, 2007 - Nice wine - bright and fresh flavors; still long on the tannins that could soften up a bit over the next few years.
