Community Tasting Notes 1

November 5, 2014 - {screwcap, 13.5%} Maazing mix of ripe and green fruits. A stalky, yet sweetly-cherry-fruited wine. It's quite light-bodied, with no appreciable oak, but the stalky, greenish tannins do build over time. It's very bright and spotlight somehow, light a wine under flourescent lights. Seems initially sweet, but grows increasingly stalkily astringent over time. Feels like it was made from very young vines somehow. Young and raw; perhaps a little time (just a little, though) will help the cause here. Cheaply priced I believe, so adjust your expectations accordingly.
