August 30, 2019 - This has opened up and softened since ‘15-‘16 when critics panned it. Nice balance of oak, fruit, and acidity. Could use some softer tannins as opposed to its astringent tannins but you don’t generally get that for this price. Excellent with steak and a bit of a crowd pleaser to be honest.
