November 4, 2023 - Electric. Integrated red fruit with soft tannins. Great acidity. Baking spices and supple backbone. Ethereal savory strawberry rhubarb pie. Out of magnum. Drink now-2027. Note with help of grinner.

October 20, 2023 - Cracking the whip; 10/16/2023-10/23/2023 (Eagan, MN): N: A really faint dark cherry note, overwhelmed by deep earth. Light fresh red fruits try to maintain a lift but struggle a bit.

P: Darker fruits and more pronounced on the palate, similar earth with bitter and shiny minerals. A somewhat strong metallic note on the sides of the palate gives it an awkward zing.

October 20, 2023 - Wine Palooza (Eagan, MN): Not a big fan of evening land wine and this did not change my mind. Floral, earth, spice and light fruits. Short to medium finish.

October 4, 2023 - Decanted for about 1 hr. Nose: very good 8/10. Ripe strawberry. Palate: 9/10. Medium light body. Soft, bitter tannin, accompanied by strawberry tart. Dark cherry. Good acidity. Finish: 9/10. Long and complex finish. Smoky. Earthy. A touch of greens at the end. Price: 7/10 ($88 in 2023. Enjoyment: 9/10. Drink now. Would buy again: maybe.

Don't think it will improve. About the same a year before. This bottle was a bit flat and acidic at the beginning, but opened up nicely after an hour.
