November 10, 2015 - Easy to drink and interesting with the blend of Marsanne and viognier

August 7, 2014 - A delicious, easy to drink and understand Chardonnay dominant blend. The blend's proportions are 86% chardonnay, 10% viognier and 4% marsanne with the Rhone varietals adding a significant melon and white flower component to the unoaked chardonnay style. Oddly enough, the wine comes across closest to an Alsatian field blend in style - the 5 grams of sugar per liter certainly reinforces this impression. . Soft texture, plenty of depth and a lingering finish. This would make a great restaurant wine and is easy to sip by itself.
