  June 18, 2022 - Offley and Ferreira Pairings (Sammamish, Washington): Dark amber-purple in color. Red fruit with some herbal notes on the nose. Slight heat on the entry with spices and red fruit on the mid-palate. Nice chocolate notes on the long, complex finish.

  December 26, 2021 - Korken satt tett, men gikk i oppløsning i forsøket på å få den ut.
  
  Rødbrun farge. Overraskende fargesterk og rød med tanke på alderen. Litt sedimenter, ikke helt klar på farge, nesten litt tåkete.
  
  Masse lukt av søtlig rød moden frukt. Lukter også litt alkoholen, typisk for portvin.
  
  Rund, veldig søt bløt smak. Rund rød søt frukt. Ikke veldig mye syre. Velbalansert og veldig integrert. Ekstrem lang, smaken sitter igjen i munnen i flere minutter.
  
  En meget god portvin.

  August 8, 2015 - OK- not great. Only owned bottle for 2 years. This had topped - to my taste. Opened together with a 1980er. '85 far better in aftertaste length and balance. Quite alcoholic & nutty. Decanted and sampled every hour, first 8 hours - no significant difference. Better composition the following day.
