It started to open up several hours later but then someone drained the bottle before i got the last impression. Still plenty fresh and clean so no worries about this being on the decline or OTH . I suspect that considering the vintage this will turn our well with some time as it has some good grip and stuffing but will give it a few years before trying again. Since this seemed shut down at the moment I will refrain from a numerical score.

  December 14, 2021 - Best of 3. Mature nose apricot with a touch of yeast and bread. Beautiful pinot body. This is ready to drink. Solid 91 points

  April 7, 2021 - This was pretty special but heading toward elderly. I think time to drink but depends on ones taste. Bordering on oxidation but just right to me. Thanks mike!

  December 21, 2019 - Opened by Mark. 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay from old vines in Verzenay. Disgorged May 2014. Lallemnt's wines have less than 3g/l dosage. Solid bead. Fresh cream, almond, chalk and citrus notes. Round finish without any signs of decline. 92 points.
