April 23, 2023 - Pleasantly surprised: Acquired 4 btls included in a cellar purchased at a non-profit auction. The wine was represented as cellared well. Opened at roughly 55 degrees and tasted on opening; it was fairly flat with no discernible fruits on the nose or palate. Let air for 30 minutes and Blueberry and light Raspberry started to become evident. Aired another 30 minutes and the wine really opened up with meaningful blueberry and even a little backbone (tannins and acid). Served with light meats and cheeses over the following hour and it held up well; consumed about half the bottle. Used an inert gas preservative and held at 55 degrees for the following two days. Second opening never regained the first night's profile but I am excited to open the next three bottles (soon). I have to say after 10 years this vintage held up well. Congratulations to the Dry Creek team.

September 20, 2022 - Nice smooth merlot. Still had some life left good on second day as well with vacuum seal

September 11, 2021 - Tasted great and hard to dislike. But I forgot to decant the bottle and noticed a good amount of light sediment in the glass, which tossed off the flavor a bit. Still fine but could have been better if I was a bit more careful.

June 20, 2021 - Just a touch of browning. The middle has a little less fruit and more rustic spice now. Still going strong.
