Community Tasting Notes 1

August 27, 2014 - Incredibly light and fresh, yet with a savory edge that has clearly developed with age. The nose and palate start out with a bright, acidic, fruity sweetness that I taste as lychee although some of the other tasters describe it as a bright citrus. This is backed up by a strong savory element that is a part pine sap and a part forest floor. The crisp finish lifts up all of these elements with a delightful lightness. Amazing stuff for fans of light-bodied Pinot Noir. I only wish it were easier to find!
