January 27, 2017 - Popped and poured. Dark cranberry, mossy forest floor, hints of cola and spices, some subtle oak as well. Very pure pinot noir on the nose. Beautiful on the palate with integrated acidity that highlights red cherry and cranberry. Some peppery spice on the mid helps add balance. Very good acidity and fine-grained tannins. A clean, precise finish gets you ready for the next sip.

March 28, 2016 - Decanted 1 h. A-Elegant high toned baking spices, bark, red/black cherry, earth, and a hint of stems. P-Red cherries, blackberries, stems, earth, a bit of bark. Elegant mouthfeel, light-med bodied. Mild tannins on mid-palate. Nice acid. F- stems, earth, fruit with surging tannins. Nicely done esp. at this level.

December 2, 2015 - Yep - too young. Good raw materials, but not integrated, particularly with respect to acidity, which is front and center at present. But that acidity, along with light tannins, should provide the necessary backbone for mid-term aging. Slightly peppery in character.
