Community Tasting Notes 1

August 16, 2014 - Amazed to find that there are no tasting notes of this wine on CT - of any vintage! Well, I guess this only illustrates that it is very rare. Classified as a Vin de Table, as it does not undergo the malolactic fermentation required by the rules of the Sancerre appellation. Light in colour, mature appearance; an elegant style, light but creamy, undergrowth, excellent mineral undertow, energetic freshness, lovely hint of tannin, understated, cool, hint of of smoke, good length. At peak but long-lived. At restaurant Librije's Zusje in Amsterdam, NL.
