November 26, 2022 - This is quite secondary on the nose with notes of vanilla and spice, sone red fruits in the background, get sone floral notes also, a bit of an astringent mouthfeel but drinks very nicely, low acidity, with a moderate finish. This is not an oak bomb as you might expect reading my description, but the fruit has certainly faded. Don’t know how it will be with more age but I can’t imagine the fruit coming back so I’d say drink up. Overall I liked it and would drink younger wines again but wouldn’t wait this long to open it.

September 24, 2021 - Roda 1 showed wonderful ripening tones in the fruit combined with youthful acidity. A Tempranillo that focuses more on tannins and acidity than extracted fruit, so absolutely wonderful for food. Oven-roasted chicken with oven-roasted root vegetables and sweet potatoes, a sauce of creme fraische and sweetchilli was perfect for this elegant Tempranillo. Drink or hold.

April 11, 2021 - Had a 2012 which was deeper and more complex. This one started a bit green and thin, picking up weight with air. Good but not at the same level. Have another bottle and will see how it does.
